For Los Angeles-based interior designer Kristin Korven, we created a logotype and business card based on her desire for branding that is simultaneously "sophisticated, earthy and subtly masculine". She provided us with a rich portfolio of visual inspiration, including photos of vintage denim remnants, patchwork quilts, and '70s typographic treatments. With Korven, we also share a mutual obsession . . . Terence Conran's 1976 House Book, which served as major inspiration. To make sure that her branding was unlike the others, we designed a custom typeface, Korven 45°.
